For the preparation of a bread with a specific sour taste from rye mayo. Add only yeast and it is ready to put in the oven. The result is approx. 1.5 kg of bread. Bread made from sour rye dough
Ingredients: 1 sachet of Biovegan natural rye mayonnaise extract, 700 g of wheat flour or wheat bran, 300 g of rye flour or rye bran, 2 sachets of BIO Biovegan yeast (18 g), 2 teaspoons of salt, 750 ml of warm water.
Preparation: Mix all dry ingredients well. Then add water and knead very well. The composition is left covered for 2 hours in a warm place to leaven. Then knead well again and put in a pre-greased baking dish. Put in the cold oven, accompanied by a bowl of water. Bake at a temperature of 180 - 200 ° C for approx. 80 minutes. Pour the form on a grill and leave to cool.
Käthe's advice: Refine your bread by adding 100 g of spring onion, 100 g of flax seeds, 100 g of different nuts or 1 tablespoon of bread spices to the dough.
