Antitussin herbal tea recipe is antitussive, antiseptic of the respiratory tract, emollient and soothing of irritated mucous membranes, fluidifies bronchial secretions, promotes expectoration.

Composition:
Thyme (Thymus serpyllum), Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare), Levantica (Lavandula angustifolia), Scai-vanat (Eryngium planum), Cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum), Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra).

Actions:
Antitussive, fluidifies bronchial secretions, promotes expectoration, emollient and soothing of irritated mucous membranes, antiseptic of the respiratory tract.

directions:
It is recommended as an adjunct in spastic cough, laryngitis, pharyngitis, bronchitis, tracheobronchitis.

contraindications:
Children under 14 years, allergy to any of the components of the product.

Administration method:
Adults and children over 14 years:

- cold maceration: soak for 6-8 hours (evening to morning), 3-4 tablespoons of the plant mixture in a liter of plain water. Strain and drink 3-4 cups of maceration during a day before meals.

- infusion: 3-4 tablespoons of the plant mixture to 1 liter of boiling water, keep for 15 minutes. at room temperature, then strain and drink. One cup of infusion is administered 3 times / day.

- plant powder: finely grind the plant mixture with an electric grinder. It is administered sublingually for 15 minutes 3-4 times a day approximately one teaspoon of the obtained powder, then swallowed with water.

Therapeutic efficacy increases if the administration of maceration, infusion or plant powder is done on an empty stomach.
