Kalamata or Kalamon olives as they are also called are specific to southern Greece, found only in the Peloponnese peninsula . They are considered a delicacy among olives, being large, fleshy and with an intense aroma. They are dark in color.

The olives we sell come from a small Peloponnese producer, the Stamatakos family. They are harvested by hand, being processed with a special vacuum machine and stored in special custom-made glass containers, in a little extra virgin olive oil manufactured by the same producer.

The way Kalamata olives are kept until they are ready for consumption is a traditional one, being kept for generations in the family of the small producer Stamatakos. Olives keep all their qualities, being a delight to be served at every meal.
