Solaris Plant almond flour, recommended for maintaining heart and muscle health, and for the proper functioning of the nervous system. It has a much lower level of carbohydrates than cereal flours and a special taste, being ideal for cakes in diets that restrict carbohydrates.

Almonds (Prunus dulcis var. Dulcis), remineralizing and slightly laxative, are one of the richest sources of vitamin E, the group of antioxidants that reduce the risk of heart disease, cancer and Alzheimer's disease, but also B vitamins. (ribooflavin), Omega 6 fatty acids and minerals (manganese, magnesium, copper, potassium, phosphorus, calcium, zinc, iron and potassium). In addition, the peel of almond seeds contains polyphenols, respectively flavonols, flavonol-5, hydroxybenzoic acids and flavanones similar to those in certain fruits and vegetables.

According to a study published in the Journal of the American Dietetic Association, eating almond seeds increases the level of vitamin E in plasma and red blood cells, while lowering cholesterol levels.

Almond flour is a gluten-free alternative to wheat flour, almond fats combining very well with classic ingredients (eggs, butter, milk). In many homemade sweets, white wheat flour can be successfully replaced in a 1: 1 ratio with almond flour, less so in those that require yeast. During digestion, almond flour can be fermented by bacteria in the large intestine and transformed into short-chain fatty acids, especially butyrate, the preferred fuel for colon cells.

It can be added over flakes and fruits for a delicious breakfast, it can successfully replace wheat flour in the preparation of homemade sweets and it can be added in protein shakes. It is mainly used in the preparation of marzipan, with an easily recognizable taste and a very pleasant smell.
