Description

Poplar bud tincture is a hydroalcoholic solution obtained by cold preparation from the buds of the populus nigra tree.
Of the herbal products administered orally, hydroalcoholic solutions are the easiest for the body to assimilate, with the effect appearing within a short time.
Compared to the traditional method of production, dacia plant uses a repeated extraction process, which allows a 35% more concentrated hydroalcoholic extract to be obtained.

Poplar is a member of the Salicaceae family and is a leafy tree with an often curved stem, reaching heights of 30-35 m, with a longevity of 300-400 years. The scientific name comes from the Latin populus, which means "people". It grows in lowland regions, in glades, on low hills, in meadows and in mountainous regions. Also known as 'vegetable propolis', poplar buds are the embryonic, undeveloped part of the branches and are rich in salicylic alcohol derivatives, flavones and essential oils. In traditional medicine they are used in: respiratory infections, tonsillitis, headaches, fever and urinary infections. They are harvested from late February to early April.
