Consumption of whole grains is extremely healthy for human beings, whether it is grains as such or in various forms such as flakes or flours from whole grains.

Always prefer whole grain flakes processed by gentle mechanical methods instead of high temperature flakes or by chemical processes. Also always use wholemeal flour instead of white flour which is very poor in all its nutrients.
