Description

Inactive yeast flakes are used to provide B vitamins, as a cheese substitute in some vegan products, but also as an indispensable ingredient in many vegetarian and vegan foods.
They are characterized by delicate taste and smell. They improve the taste and nutritional value of the dishes. They can be an ingredient in sauces, pasta, sandwiches, etc. Ideal as a complement to grilled and fried vegetables. Flakes are not intended for baking.

Inactive yeast is called "vegetarian protein" because it is a rich source of complete protein, with over 55% quality protein. With a content of 18 amino acids, yeast flakes fall into the category of complex proteins and in addition, they also contain 15 minerals. This type of yeast is grown on sugar cane and molasses. It is picked, washed, dried and sold in either powder or flake form.
